looken to buy 41 pc, have a cople of questions

OBTW have only been out 45 times this year, last year i left the slip 80 times, mind you most are just short for SANITY trips, hour out and hour back in with lots of fun between.

Also Mopar the description is very confusing on the Long Island boat - V-Drives???. Boat ID FORM1999???, One fuel tank???? none of that is on mine unless 1999 is a completely different boat. Hope the other descriptions are accurate. Good Luck

Sorry for the delay I have been very busy. Thanks Botjem of the info i will keep that in mind. Divergirl how is your boat doing ?
Thanks, Chris

Did i answer you on this?? I use both thrusters all the time only because I can and yes I have docked the 41 without the Thrusters but why should i, LOL. Like the one in Massapequa. cockpit cushions look like they have been replaced. Its on Long Island about an hour from me. OBTW my thrusters piss every one off in my club, one comes put to help me dock, but that is good LOL
Botjem did you add the bow/stern thrusters, how often do you use the stern thruster. I would like to have a bow thruster on my next boat purchase if possible for the ease of docking. My previous 40 foot (w/gas engines) did not have a bow thruster and let me tell ya, when the wind is blowing that boat was not fun at all to back in my slip or to pull into the fuel dock. I am not sure I rilly need a stern thruster. Btw what do you think about this 41 pc https://www.globaloneyachts.com/boats-for-sale/1999-formula-41-pc-massapequa-new-york-6813763/. I just happen to stumble across it. I was wondering if you know what part of New York this boat is at.
Thanks,Chris

HI guys and girls sorry I have not been on. I have been very busy with work. Botjem thank you, yes you have answer my questions. But It looks like my boat budget has gotten quit a bit smaller. I have purchased some rental property for a very good price. With that being said I am not sure what brand boat I will get. If I can afford an 41pc I will try. I am in my mid 30's and have a good job with a descent 401k. I bought this rental property to have as retirement income for when i retire so I don't have to 100% rely in my 401k and still have a nice retirement with a nice cruiser and a few other toys lol. Btw I plan to have this rental property payed off by the time i retire lol.
Thanks,Chris

Then just look at a smaller Formula, anything 2000 and up and you will not be sorry. My Son in Law also is looking and He started out with 34's and is now looking at 31's, unfortunately there are many more searays than Formulas. Question for the Out drive owners - Are they all fresh water cooled??? And is Mercruiser there engine of Choice??? Not fond of Mercruiser, just feel when they have a problem, they just make the next generation and do not stand behind their error of the previous generation. For Example the fuel cooler made of aluminum with salt water running through it - REALLY!!!! and still selling the engine to shift - make them all bravo's.
