SINGLE POINT WATER FILL

Water tank not filling

MACJAZZY, SORRY FOR THE CONFUSION. I SHOULD HAVE STATED THAT WE HAVE ONE POINT WATER FILLS. WE SELECT WHERE THE WATER GOES UNDER THE GALLEY SINK. YOURS MUST NOT HAVE IT. I.M SURPRISED, SINCE YOURS IS A 2005 LIKE MINE.

Gsent,
'can you help me out, with the switch to tank fill on my 2004 37pc the water tank doesn't fill, I hear there's a solenoid that opens and closes could that be the problem? If so can you tell me where it's located? Thanks

Zeus,
The solenoid is located behind the refrigerator. Have you checked the float in the water tank? There are two floats in the tank. One is tied to the level indicator on the panel for displaying the water level. Another float is to open and close the solenoid valve. If this float sticks in the up position, you will not open the valve.
Please remember that the breaker for the water pump must be on for this system to work. I have always forgot this step.
Good luck and keep us posted.

I have 2003 37 PC with single point fresh water, all works as it should, city water, tank fill and tank water/pump.
Does anyone have a clicking sound out of the tank watch controller, when water tank is full/ almost full, switched to tank/ pump, as boat rocks. Story below.

When switching to fill with rocker switch you hear the solenoids energize, the one in the TankWatch controller and the one is behind fridge near pump When full, solenoids de-energize and fill water shuts off, as boat rocks a little the fill water will flow and fill the tank further, this will happen a bunch of times. Each time you hear the solenoid cycle. I disconnect the city water, switch back to tank/ pump. All good, working as it should

The Issue is an irritating noise in cabin.
As the boat rocks and tank watch lights go from full to mid, the tank watch controller makes a clicking sound , if tank is emptied about 1/8th or so, the float will never rise enough to cause the controller to show full and therefore click.

As it should, the 2nd solenoid that would let water flow to tank, does not energize when rocker switch is on tank water.

I believe there was an upgrade to the relay that operates the solenoid. I would check with Formula TAG to get a better answer.
