Goof plate to cover marks on the dash from the existing steering. Now for a little Powdercoat ;)

Deep in thought. Lets see...it's july 7th , I'm doing 82 mph , just beat 2 Fountains and a Sunsation , wind just blew my hat off.....no no no , back to reality here ::)
Looks like I'll need a spacer between the dash plate and wheel hub.
Off to Fazzio's (where I got the other stuff) for some aluminum 4" round x 2"or 4"x4" square x 2". After this it can get powdercoated.

Decent day in the 50*s so had to do the outer portion. Used the existing holes from the lower ST mounting bolts 8)

Used the existing holes from the old bottom of the Silent Thunder. Hydraulic lines couldn't have fit better 8)

This was 18 days before I lost the starboard engine. That's winter project # 3 and already underway.
Sometimes I wonder why I like boating ??? ???

Got all four hydraulic hoses cut , ends installed and threaded up the side of the boat. All connections were made except for the pressure feed and return line which can't be done till the engines back in.

Update on steering. Got my dash parts back from the powder coater. Satin black to match the wheel spokes ;)

Finished up the dash end of the hydraulic steering today. Only thing left now are the final connections on the engine (once it's back in place)
