Formula 280 on Barnegat Bay


I have a 2004 280SS and love it. Fast and plenty of room and I can trailer it which saves tons of $$ on repairs and storage.
Barnaget Bay is very shallow - stay in the channel.
I had 3 Wellcrafts and 1 Sea Ray - Formula quality is very good.
 
depending on which section of Barnaget Bay your in you have to stay in the channel. I think the more South you are the more you have to be cautious of the channels. Between Manahawkin/Barnaget Township all the way up to Toms River you have pretty much the whole Bay at your disposal. Just watch the flats around Oyster Creek Channel and Sedge Islands but other than that there isn't a place I really can't run. Its 8-11 feet any day.
