I've skipped this thread because I figured it was talking about the smaller boats. Then I saw you were towing a 330ss with a 150! Eak! Glad you finally got a 250. I towed my 330ss with two different trucks, 08 F350 with a tuned 6.4 diesel, and 2017 F350 with the 6.7 diesel stock.
The 330 dry is about 10klbs, I estimated the boat at 11,500, and my trailer was 2k lbs. Thats 13,500 lbs you had behind an F150. Were my numbers wrong? It sure didn't feel like it towing, that's a pretty heavy combo. (I tow equipment at around that weight all the time).
The 250 will be night and day difference. I run 350SRW's to be legal on paper, NJ doesn't charge that much more for the 11,500lb GVW, and it makes the whole setup actually legal to tow per dot. 250 and 350 are almost identical besides the door tag on 250 that says 9990lbs for states that consider over 10k commercial no matter what.
