What's the going rate for a boat hauler? FL to TX

I'm moving from FL to TX and am considering taking the boat rather than selling it in FL. 2008 350, 13,500 lbs, hinged arch to lower the min clearance to 7 ft, and beam under 11 ft (10' 9"). I paid $925 in 2015 to haul the boat 109 miles from Naples to Fort Lauderdale, so that was about $8.50 per mile. Do I simply multiply 8.50 per mile by the distance I want to go?

Also, if anyone interested in a clean, well-maintained 350 with Seacore 496 Mag HO's, 570 hours, give me a shout for details and photos.

well for me it was pure math (minus the state issues I was aware of)...so for a estimate you could do your math.

wildcards are different states rules and permits if required.

for example in OHIO I had to have an ESCORT Vehicle, where as a few other states I did not..but I knew that and could account for that.

I did post this to Uship and got two quotes back. Total distance 1400 miles. High quote was $5k, low quote $4k, including fees and permits. Both are using low-boy trailers pulled by heavy duty pickups.

FTL_Alan: I moved my 350 CBR from Iowa to San Diego in 2015 using the U Ship app. About 2000 miles. The guy who moved mine was former NFL Wide Receiver Charles Taylor who played for Rice in College and then in the Pros for Denver. Nice guy. Showed up on time in Iowa with a trailer and a Ford 350 King Ranch Dually. Arrived 1 week later in San Diego. Happy with his price, attitude, communication enroute, and time. PM me if you want more info. Alec
