Upcoming sea trial, 1992 29PC

Have deposit holding 1992 29PC, purchase pending sea trial. Has 2 454s and Bravo drives. Fear of mechanical issues has me on edge; since not a mechanic. Obvious indicators are easy, it's the not-so obvious causing trepidation. Any advice? Thanks!
 
Best advise is to have a survey performed on the boat. Also ask to see maintenance records for proof that boat was serviced.
