AllDodge Well-known member May 23, 2023 #5 Member has Tpenfield has a Cruisers 338 with 6.2's and it does ok but does need more power The 6.2 was "said" to replace the 7.4 but it does not have the low end torque of a big block. This is also why the 8.2 remains as a go to for heavy boats Just my opinion
