Trim tabs


I'm having issues with my trim tabs, i.e. they don't work at all! Just bought the boat. I checked the fluid level, and my outdrive trim works fine. I looked down in the engine near the pump and found two disconnected wires. Any chance someone can post a pic of their pump so I can try and compare the wires? I'm wondering if the trim tabs were disconnected entirely by the previous owner.
 
Has anyone had any experience or know of anyone who has replaced their Bennet trim tabs that Formula seems to like with the bigger Mercury K Plane tabs that Fountain uses?
My 292 feels like it could use a little more trim or lift back there.
