Throttle alarm in Vessel View

2008 350 SS.. "Throttle" alarm on engine 2 (starboard) in Vessel View.. this has happened maybe 3 times over the last year, always at low/idle speed. I am able to clear it on the screen and continue on with no problem. What is this alarm? The pic below is the very first time I got this error, Jan 2017. I was using single throttle mode at the time. It happened again using normal dual throttles. It's always on DTS2 (i.e. engine 2, which on my boat is starboard).

Ugh...I had that VV version on my last boat and seeing your photo just reignited my memories of sleepless nights trying to troubleshoot all of the error codes I would receive.

If your engines are operating just fine, it's probably some silly sensor or a report of a value that isn't within range.

My guess is your boat is 100% seaworthy, but VesselView is not. (Of course, it is wise to get it checked out.)

I never received that code so cannot help much.

My mechanic said he needed to reprogram throttle controls for this problem.. sounds like he is in agreement with you, it's an issue with vesselview itself
