Tach Hour Meters Off

Hello All -

I own a 2004 37ss and over the course of 2 summers i've noticed the hour meter on the port side running 'faster' than starboard. Performed a quick search across a few forums without any luck so figured I would shoot a post to see if any other are experiencing the same. I did confirm both sides are reading based on the starboard side with a scanner. Would like the port to reflect correctly so is there anything I can do to correct this issue?

This is a temporary fix to get the hours closer on the gauge, but one day when on the boat and just hanging out, turn the motors off and then turn the Starboard key to on (not starting the engine). The hour meter tach should tick and you can catch it up to the port.
