mine would run until it hit full extension and then make an awful clicking sound. it was a bad clutch. i removed the whole ram and sent it back to the factory for repair...wasn't that much to get it repaired as i remember. i know there's a post in here somewhere about it...
Hey Guys, thanks for the ideals. I contacted the TAG Team and they've been great to deal with. I have some ideals now. Will let you all know how I make out this spring with this problem.
After going through three motors in 12 months, I learned the drain near the motor was clogged (down at the manifold in engine room) causing the motor to submerge and seize. If you?re up on the roof and have the motor access open may be worth checking for clear passage by running a garden hose through each drain.
Yep, behind the TracVision. The tech looked at it and the voltage on one side was a heavy draw, no actuation. Looks like it bit it. A little debris in the drains, so cleaned them while we were in there too.
