Starboard dies under power. Low voltage alarm. Restarts. New batteries.

Hi, just purchased a new to me 02 382 with 575's. Starboard engine will run for a couple miles, good cruising speed at consistent power to port and then just dies suddenly. Will restart but have to crank over for about 5 seconds or so. Runs for a bit and then dies again. Have had out 3 times now and seems to run fine after 10 - 20 minutes of this. (I was trying to take to marina to have this checked out.) This time a low voltage alarm came on on dash so perhaps an alternator issue? Any ideas appreciated. Thanks!

Start with the basics, might be as simple as a bad ALT or Bat

With motor off, measure Bat's and they should be 12.6V or higher.

When motor is running after a short time, voltage should read 14.5V or so
