Shower Leak (inside wall) - Help!!!

I just found the source of the water appearing on the cabin floor under the stairs. The outlet hose from the shower valve is leaking (and not slowly). Does anyone know the brand and size of the pipe and fittings. The fittings seam to twist but don't "lock down" to prevent the leak. They must be some sort of compression fitting. Acess for the repair will be fun through the access panel in the aft cabin closet.

I had pretty much the same leak of shower behind the wall. Got if fixed under warranty, but sorry, don't remember the type of fittings that were involved.

I am not super clear what fitting...is it the fitting where a supply line (blue or red plastic) connects to the back of the faucet/shower?

If so, aren't those quick connect - meaning you push in the connector and release or insert the water line ?

However, I am not sure I understand the exact location of the outlet hose from the shower valve?

Two supply lines (hot/red and cold/blue) connect into a Tee at the shower mixing valve "lever". The Outlet/red connects to the shower hose. See picture. Correct orientation is rotated 90 degrees. The outlet (on left) is leaking. Note water on wall , exterior of shower enclosure and on wires...more than a little water.

The fittings look like Whale quick connects, but I cannot get enough limbs through the access panel in the closet to push the fittings together. Does anyone know if the wall panel adjacent to the closet is easily removed.

P.S. Out of warranty by all of 30 days!!

Ok, so I have the same boat basically...yep they are whale quick connects.

Man, I think removing the entire wall is NOT so easy...

To be sure of your orientation...it is leaking NEAR the brass fitting, the two 90's prior to that - the red line (MALE) going into the femail side of the 90 ?

I wonder if you could RIG some kind of tool to reach up and allow you to put pressure while using some sort of long handled pliers to grip the red line.

I won't be at my boat till this weekend, so if you did not make any headway, I can check out what I have going on. Sorry I can't be more help at the moment.

The leak is the opposite end of the red line away from the two 90 's going into the brass fitting. The water drop on the brass side is actually from the spray from the other end at the mixing valve....yes that much force. Should still be a quick connect. I like the idea of some sort of brace. I'll try a belt around the brass ebd and hold it as I push from the closer end. My concern is the red pipe is too short. I'll let you know.

I contacted TAG today with no reply.

Don't worry about the warranty being up, they wouldn't have covered this anyway. Usually the PEX quick-disconnect fittings leak if the end of the hose was not cut exactly at 90 degrees. But if that's the case here, it would have leaked from the factory when the boat was brand new. Any chance that part of the water system was not properly winterized at some point? Maybe the fitting or line cracked.

Formula stepped up to cover the fitting and pipe. Good thought on the winterization, but I'm pretty sure it was done correctly. Antifreeze always done properly. It may have leaked since new because the shower has never been used other than winterizing and commissioning. I thought the puddle was from the fridge defrosting.

I'm thinking the red line is slightly too short so it is not seated properly.
