Hi guys, Just picked up a 2003 280 ss 496 mag ho. Just wondering the best source of tune-up components, sensors, etc... The engine S/N is 0M364407 I'm being proactive (but not necessarily replacing) spark plugs, coils, all sensors and anything I might need in the next few years. Thanks in advance.

If parts are needed first go to a site that has Mercruiser parts. Using your serial number look up the Merc part, then search that number for best price. The link below is your motor and the place I start with

If I can't find OEM parts like the coil, is NGK ok ?

Sure, my comment is start with Merc part then find the GM part or other. Some parts should stay Merc if they are Merc original parts. Coils are GM parts and vendor like NGK (if they make them) is good

Are you changing the coils because some are bad? Typically no need to replace them unless they go bad.
