SeaDek / EVA foam decking

Hey gang,

Wondering if anyone has personally installed OR had pro installed SeaDek / EVA foam / Faux teak etc. on their bows where there's the rough/non-skid fiberglass parts. I'm trying to find reviews online and can't seem to find much. I'm thinking about adding it onto my bow (41PC) area because my dog is nearly slipping every time he's out wondering on the bow (which is his favorite spot of course). Thanks!
 
Funny you should ask. We just had SeaDek installed on the swim platform up to the windshield on our 41PC. So far we love it. The one really thing we don’t like about the 41PC is the bow area. It is too slippery and the bow rail is useless pretty much. We have talked about putting the SeaDek up on the bow but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Our dog would love to go up on the bow but we don’t let him for the same reason you said. On our last boat we had to put fenders in the side decks to keep him off the bow. Then he learned how to slide under the fenders and would go up on the bow.
