Rod Holders 280ss

Anyone have suggestions? Not a big fisherman but would like two rod holders. Pictures would be good. Thanks anyone.
 
Not sure how your 280 is configured but there are 2 drink holders on the aft starboard side of my 260. That's where I put my rod holders.

If you think that might work for you I can take pics tomorrow.

Thanks Form 6. I do have two drink holders on my starboard just behind the helm but I think it would be a little awkward to access for fishing.
 
Search on here for “My 260ss upgrades” I’ve got pics of my fishing set up somewhere in it. Rod holders attach to the mid windshield supports, removable cutting board, and bait tank/pump info too. Good luck on the bite, tails up!

I live in Brewster. We trailer so we like all Cape and island waters, including Long Pond, plus Boston Harbor, Lake Winnipesaukee, as well as trips to Canada and Florida.

The drink holders there are not bad at all for fishing. I run two boat roads out of them for trolling. Obviously you can't use them for giants, but if you watch them carefully you can catch big fish.

And you? Where do you boat and fish?

Whoops, I just noticed, Peter, that you said your rod holders are just behind the helm. Mine are located on the back of the aft bench seat.

However, I believe you may be able to drill holes (I know, ouch!) in the same spot and it could work for you. Come over to my house if you'd like to check it out. The boat is inside in my garage. Send me a PM if you're interested.
