Removing door and drawer hardware in 2006 PC40 laminated cabin drawers and doors

I am trying to remove the cabinet door hardware in my PC40 and there is a round metal rosette forced into the pre-drilled hole that I do not want to damage during removal, so I wonder if anyone has any experience getting that rosette out of the hardware hole. I was told by formula that it is machine forced into the precut hole.

If anyone is reading this thread I did confirm that the laminated front panel on cabinet drawers is held to the drawer by two screws, plus double sided tape between the back of the laminated front panel and the front of the wooden drawer compartment. Squirt some goof-off solvent in the small opening, wait a few minutes, apply goof-off again, then wedge two putty knife blades in the opening and widen the opening forcing a screwdriver between the putty knife blades.
The round rosette is removed by unscrewing the 2 latch screws, then tap the inside edge of rosette alternating sides to push it out, there are no screws it is just pressure fit.
