Took boat to Sarasota yesterday I was going to a sandbar, but the red tide smell was bad turned boat around bad
Hopefully it clears up soon

It doesn’t usually last this long, it’s been weeks and needs to go away but if not by end of next week I’ll probably going to take boat to Boynton beach weather providing

Sadly, this will only stop when the FL tourism and marine industry lobby money surpasses the sugar industry lobby money, or enough people who care about the environment actually show up and vote.

Alas it is a man made issue and can only be solved by the food produces cleaning up their act. Not much in Clearwater area but just south is terrible.

Unable to go to Boynton this weekend, thinking of going to Egmont key Saturday hopefully red tide is not to bad there

Ran up the outside from Saint Pete to Clearwater on Sunday and there were patches of dead fish and coffee colored water all the way to Clearwater pass.

What a shame, I was out at Egmont key 2 weeks ago and no real sings of red tide, I gest it is going further north. a week before that I went to Anna Maria sandbar and just turned around the smell was so bad, and I sure wasn’t going to swim in it, but I will keep trying LOL
