Perko Flush Kit - Stainless Clamp on Valve?

My current flush kits do not have a stainless clamp on the valve body. Some pics show this with this, some without.
I assume it was a running change, but same part #? I hate companies that don't change part numbers. GM could have prevented a lot of deaths had they changed part numbers.

same part #!!!
Amazon has free returns, so either I get the new one (I assume the stainless clamp is newer), or it goes back I guess.

Agree, think I might lean toward the webstone double ball valve, no springs or plastic

Yeah, I've read some bad reviews of these, but mine have held up well. 10 years of use and only 1 leaks - could be my crazy high marina water pressure, or heat cycles, or damaged when I removed the engines. For a $100 part it's not bad, but I'd much rather pay $200 and have the case be made of metal.
