Just Sayin...... When we are out on our 04 31PC and pass or see another formula. We get wowed. Just no mach for a Formula new and old. Everyone we see is always kept immaculate. We all sure have good taste. Have a great summer. Nick

Well said, Nick!

Formula owner’s pride outshines (no pun intended) [emoji23] all the others.

Everytime, and I mean every time, I take my 27 PC out I get "beautiful boat!" comments. Then several questions about it come. They are true head turners.

I could not agree more. My Formulas were as nice if not nicer than the day they were purchased and this is due to the quality of the product. It's so easy to clean and polish an excellent gelcote surface, even after many years of being in the sun.
The key to keeping them nice is never let them get to the point of fading. Waxing and polishing should be done every couple of months. We take pride in our boats and Formula takes pride in building them.

Right on. I get these type of compliments all the time at my marina. Normally it is from some of the charter sailboat passengers who walk past on the way to their charter. I do polish and wax my Formula about every 3 months since we can boat 365 days a year here in San Diego. My boat turns 5 years old this week. I took a fellow marina slip holder who is a sailboater out yesterday as I need to make a pump out run and a fuel run. He and his adult son were working on the bimini on their sailboat. I said, "Eddie, wanna go have some fun? Let the 'kid' finish the work and let's go burn some fuel." As I handed him a beer as he boarded he said, "I know how awesome you keep your boat. I really appreciate this." After burning a few dinosaurs, a head pump out and a refueling, I brought him back to the slip so he could experience sailboat speed of a total of 7 knots and time to finish supervising the bimini work.

I might jump this to its own thread - but has anyone had their boats ceramic coated? I do it for my cars and cannot believe how much easier they are to keep up and how much better they look overall. My buddy just did a 6-7 year old black hulled Cruiser in FL and it looks showroom now. Plus its easier to wash down. My dad did his pontoon boat and is loving it. I was going to start with just my outboard cowlings now but am thinking about the overall boat. even the interiors come up great.

CT_Formula has....he told me it has made a huge difference so I will be doing the same next year.

Yes......major difference in the ease of upkeep. Only did transom as a test and what a difference. Doing whole boat next season. Also....thanks for having
Be Hoppy on tap at Otter Cove in Old Saybrook!!

Formulas definitely get a lot of attention. Here is mine and a smaller 34PC commanding a front row view at the Park Place Boat Club at Put-In-Bay.

I get comments on mine (1994) quite often about how good it looks, and is that really a 94. Then I feel a bit ashamed that I haven't washed it but once all season, and haven't waxed it in maybe 7 years. It does show its signs of aging with the vinyl, some have been replaced. I keep the maintenance up on her so have not had issues

Yeah Rockstar I totally agree, even 15-20 year old Formulas shine like nobody's business in my opinion.

Yeah a big plus on the ceramic coating, it makes it SUPER easy to keep her clean with minimal effort. Its my second boat I did it to and the technology keeps getting better.

Another weekend of Formula waves and a few shout outs as we passed by fellow owners. Several unsolicited compliments at the dock as well....some guy walked by and said I can't stop admiring your boat (the Diamond Silver Pearl in the sunshine made it look extra good LOL). Another dock mate said "Would you ever consider a fly bridge?" My answer was only if Formula made one....but even then I think I'd prefer the 45 Yacht due to it's express cockpit layout.

These boats really are special.

After some research I tried Rejex and was really happy with it. Bought it from our local airport. Got it to clean the soot from the transom. Ended up doing the whole boat.
