We had some issues with our 1991 formula 29pc, one engine wouldn’t shift into gear, and the other wasn’t able to adjust the trim, it’s in the shop at the marina but they are having trouble finding the parts/finding part numbers, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to good websites that we could check for the parts, any help is appreciated

Formula has a ton of info and is very helpful. Try reaching out to their TAG (technical assistance group), They can probably provide you with the build sheet for your boat, based on your HID number,

George Posey: Although I sold my Formula few years back, I still check in on this forum. I did buy a 2018 Monterey 355SY about 15 months ago and I am the 3rd owner. My punch list of stuff to fix was 47 items long. One of them was my Bomar front round hatch. Here's my experience. It's good that you have the Bomar Serial number. That's good. I needed brackets for the strut that attached to the front dog handle. The stuff sold on Amazon wasn't the correct parts. When I called Bomar, they said, "Minimum charge of $100 plus a 20% surcharge due to Covid." I only needed a $25 part! (I thought---this doesn't make sense to spend $120 plus shipping for a $25 part!!) I asked them the part number. After they gave it to me, I told them I would think about it. I then called a boat parts retailer in the Pacific NW. I asked them if they had the part number. They didn't. I asked them since they sell so much Bomar parts could they "adopt" the part in their system, order from Bomar, and then ship to me? They said sure! With shipping I think it was $45 total. My message here is that Bomar really is not easy to do business with. Good luck with your repairs and PM me if you have questions.
