I'm shopping for a 88'-90' 292 as I prefer it over the 303 for the enclosed head. I also like the 311. I'm just baffled as even though I'm a formula owner (1997 280 SS) as to why 292's are still listing in the high 20k and 30k range. I can buy a 1993 303 SR1 for around 20k or less from a dealer! I dont know many people looking at 20 yr old boats who are cash buyers in the 30k range and no bank is going to lend anywhere near that amount even with a survey on a recreation product.
If anyone knows of a 292 or 311 in the 15 - 20k range please let me know as long as no bottom paint. As I am a proud formula owner I know my boat is a premium but at that rate I should be able to sell my 97' 280 for almost 60k and we all know that is not going to happen!
