New to Me 1998 27 PC

I recently purchased 1998 27 PC that had no canvas. I called Formula, who was great to deal with, and they gave me all of the parts needed. I then sent them to Ameritex/Taylor who informed me that if I do not have the black tag, they can not help me. Other than going to a local canvas shop, and paying about 50% more, can anyone tell me how I can get the "black tag" or canvas?

hmmm - that's odd. I bought a top from them several years ago and had no tag because I didn't have any canvas for my boat either. I will also say that it never fit right and they ended up refunding me after trying things for 2 seasons.
Shot in the dark - sometime Great Lakes Skipper has NOS canvas that they sell. I've seen them list Formula canvas on their site. You could also put a post in the PC section in the forums and see if anyone has any old canvas they are willing to sell that could at least be a starting point.
