New ladder

Believe it or not, Thompson's water seal made it look fairly good for a week or so, the Thompson's also would make faded gel bring it's color back for about a month. :)

Finanlly got to install my new ladder. Now I don't have to kick my chin with my knee trying to get in on land ;D

Was able to use my original mounts without drilling any additional holes

Even using only three steps (last one with velcro strap) it was plenty reachable and one hellava site better than the old "two step"

Ladder worked good but still lacked some professionalism in appearance

So I got some 1 inch stainless rod and had the cutzy little spacers made up. Inside hole is threaded so it can be jammed tight against original support on swim platform.

Still have to cut bolts about 1/4 inch and add cap nuts for a nice finished look but I have a long season to get that done ;D

Good job on the ladder.
That is exactly what I will do on my 242 LS. I originally bought the same ladder for my 242 SS but now it will go on my LS and the SS will get the old LS ladder. Did you follow all that? ;D
I'm getting a little ahead of myself but I have everything lined up to go to NH, and get my LS soon. Then I will join the "multiple formula owners club" for a little while anyway. The SS have to will go at some point.

Where in NH? I looked at one at Lakeport Landing Marina on Lake Winnipesakee in the search for mine.

Well it has been a while now and I was mislead by some pics of the former sale. I got it in Maryland from chuck here and he bought it from NH.

How long have you had your 272?

What is the with of the Sea Ranger ladder. I am having a hard time finding one.

14 1/2 inches for the four step (outside to outside). Mad a space out of solid stainless rod to fill the gap. This wat no new holes were drilled or filled ;)
