MOVED: Real world 353 speeds?

What are the speeds people are seeing with the 353?
496's, 496 HO's,HP500's,525's,575's
Researching the next boat and I think the 353 is what I want. It maybe a couple of years unless I find an incredible deal.

I just traded in a 2000 353 with 500HPs and I could always get 77-78 mph.
On 1 foot chop and light on fuel I could get 80 on GPS.

All these are gps,on various boats we sold. 496mag HO 75-76. 500EFI no boxes 80-82,with boxes 82-85,525 with boxes 87-89,575's with boxes 88-89,600's with boxes 94.3-94.8. Robert

Jim, I was told that a 353 with 496ho's would run about 75-78 mph. So I ordered one! ;D ERIC Also i drove a 353 w/reg 496mags, 2POB,FULL FUEL, speedo said 73-74, cool weather,flat water sea level, salt.

STIX, Formula says it is on the truck. My Dealer, Ocean Outboard, said around the 2nd week in January. Can't wait! ERIK
