Mercruiser 350 MAG MPI hose question

Hi everyone,

I have a 2000 280 SS with twin 350 MAG MPI motors, with 525 hours. All has been working fine, and I am trying to be proactive on maintenance. My question is this: On the front, top of the motors there is a pump (circulator pump) that has four hoses (two smaller towards the engine, and two slightly larger further forward) coming out. These feel brittle and old, and one has a crack. My plan is to replace. Odd thing is, I cannot find a schematic or any other diagram that shows this part???

The "raw water circulator pump" looks to be elsewhere on the motor. The closest I can figure is this is related to thermostats?

Anyhow, can anyone tell me what that part is (for my knowledge) and the appropriate hose (looks like they are pre-molded to the correct shape) kit replacement would be?

Thanks for being patient with a newbie.

plug your serial # into any of the common merc sites. this is for my 2001 350.

the recirc pump should have 1 hose.
the raw water pump has 2

the thermostat housing has a bunch of hose connections.

I've considered replacing mine, as when you squeeze them or bend them, they seem brittle on the inside. Just haven't really gotten around to it. I was thinking as long as they don't leak, they are fine, but obviously obstructions could lead to overheating issues. Luckily i'm good on that front.

Thank you! That is the piece for sure. So the four hoses that go from there are probably some hose kit I can buy online? Or can I just by flexible hose of the correct rating and run it myself?
