Completed our maiden voyage last weekend and it couldn't have went any better! my kids were all in town together, which is rare, so we all met up at the boat. We left Dana Point and headed up to Newport harbor (California in case you're wondering). We cruised the entire harbor and stopped for lunch at Woody's, where I was able to dock the boat flawlessly in front of a large audience (I was a little nervous since it was my first time docking a twin engine boat). They served us lunch on the boat and then we headed for home. High tide was only 2-3 foot waves so it was super flat the entire day. Boat ran perfectly with zero problems! To say I was happy would be an understatement! Next stop, Catalina!

Nice, glad it worked out so well. You're lucky to have got a spot at Woodys for lunch it's usually full. Hopefully you get to enjoy this weekends heat on the water as well.
