LATE SUMMER SALE EXTENDED

Re: LATE SUMMER SALE

unfortunately this looks like a bridge to nowhere....which really isn't very funny at this point in time. talk about whetting the appetite!

Re: LATE SUMMER SALE

Not sure what the numbers are for 2008 and 2009 models still on dealers showrooms, but hopefully the promotion helps move those boats so the factory can start off 2010 as well as possible in these times.

Its going to take the excape program coming back to really start a sales increase to where it once was when the economy starts improving

Re: LATE SUMMER SALE

We are getting help from Formula to move stock boats. Its working too we have sold several boats in the last 60 Days. I have been working 50 to 60 hours a week and running everyday. Makes the day go by faster and puts some $$$$ in my pocket. Not to mention really makes your mood a lot better.

Re: LATE SUMMER SALE

Glad to hear your selling boats. Could you fill us in and tell us what the deal is? It may just make me go buy that 31PC I desire. Low intrest financing? Rebates?

Re: LATE SUMMER SALE

Just cash no financing and every boat is differant. Just as long as the dealer is motivated its a very good time to buy. If you want a low finance program you basically have to buy it down yourself.

Re: LATE SUMMER SALE

Other than trying to google search every dealer in the country to figure out who has what. Is there anyway to search for a specific boat to see if there is a left over anywhere?

I very, preliminarily, may be interested in a 353 w/525's. depending on the deal of course. I am thinking I am still a few years away from that boat but if this is the deal they are hyping it to be maybe it could happen sooner than I thought.

I hate to waste anyones time when I am still at this point a "tire kicker" but.....You never know. It seems like every boat I have ever bought I wasn't actually shopping for it. I just stumbled upon the deal for the boat I wanted.

Re: LATE SUMMER SALE

There are two 2008's at the factory that have 525's one has no imron and no hours, the other is Gold #2 Stealth Lime with 70 hours (big Hour Discount). There is also a 2008 with 600's it has 22 hours and is Platinum Solar Reactor. They also have two 2009's with 525's one has 13 hours it is Terminal Velocity, The other has 32 hours it is Gold #2 Antigua. Any dealer can sell these boats and Formula wants them gone. They are boats they had to buy back from defunct Dealers and the one with no hours I think they built for stock just to keep the production line moving.

Re: LATE SUMMER SALE

Thanks very much Troy, I need to go on the website and figure out what each of those boats look like then figure out what I want to do.

Re: LATE SUMMER SALE

There is a similar promotion running for overseas dealers and importers - So its a good time to buy in Europe, too

Re: LATE SUMMER SALE

Troy,

Can you provide the same sort of information for any 330SS's, 350SS's, or 370SS's that might be available somewhere? Like MacJazzy, I hate to be a bother, but it is hard for the layman to find out what is available. I'm in the market for a boat if I can find the right deal. I have been looking at older models, but, as you say, this might be the time to look newer.

Re: LATE SUMMER SALE

drynoc, you might want to think about taking a trip out to Decatur to check out what is at the factory. Buying a boat there is the way to go if you can find a dealer to broker the deal for you. My present boat came from there and it was like getting a brand new boat (I think since I have never had a spanking new boat). They will put it in the test tank and run it through all the tests a new boat gets.Just remember you cannot buy it from the factory, you have to go through a dealer. Unless the rules have changed. like a lot of things lately ;)

Re: LATE SUMMER SALE

That would be a bad thing if Formula would allow factory direct sales, even when times are like they are today.

Re: LATE SUMMER SALE

Going direct would be a bad idea...especially since all boats have some "shake down" items that need serviced. Establishing a good relationship with a dealer is critical. I also think that Formula likes (and it really is a good idea) to have you buy from the dealer that is in your geographic area. So if you live in say Eastern Michigan, you would use SunSport as your dealer to broker the deal. You can still visit the factory to see the stock, but ideally you should contact your local dealer. Most likely they will really be able to help you out, arranging everything, etc.
