Ladder Mat?

I think Seadeck is one brand name for marine foam flooring material. Not sure where to buy it for diy though. Could try cutting up one of those interlocking square floormats to fit that they sell in bundles at Big box stores. May not be as durable as the real deal but it might do the trick?

Given that I only need a small piece to go between the ladder and boat, I'm thinking I can order the 'samples' and just put one where I want it

I'll put one on top and one under to cushion the ladder against the fiberglass.

the area that the ladder rubs is approx 9" wide and 3" tall. the samples are 6x4" it looks. I can put 2 down or just one in the center.

thanks! New hardware coming too. (Bolts/washers/Locknuts) it's stainless, but after 21 years it's not so pretty any more.

just replaced our three rung ladder on 2005 34PC with four rung ladder. Cut a 5" hole with hole saw and now ladder bolts are super easy to get to. Followed up with a simple circular access hatch insert. The four rung is far superior than the three when getting out of the water.
