Installing a 22" Flat Screen on a 31PC

Unforgettable

Santa left a 22" Flat Screen under my tree to be mounted on my 07 31PC.

That said, I need some guidance. I have seen Formula's mount that is on the top of the port sink area. This does not seem practical since while in port I generally have a small light there and while @ anchor the light is replaced by a blender ;). Sea Ray has a very nice stainless steel bracket that's mount to the inside of the arch. Hey, its just about the only thing that I like on their boat....

Has anyone done this and where can I puschase the stainless steel mounting hardware for. If I'm not mistake, Sea Ray lists it for $300+.....

Thanks for your assistance. As always, it is greatly appreciated.....

YOU CAN USE ANY TV BRACKET THAT CAN HANDLE THE WEIGHT. I WOULD NOT WASTE 300.00 PLUS FOR A TV BRACKET.
I HAVE INSTALLED THE ARTICULATING TYPE ON A FOUR WINNS ABOUT 5 YEARS AGO, AND IT STILL LOOKS GREAT.

Hey, does the stand on your flat screen adjust? mine turns up so i can hang the lcd on a wall using the existing stand. all i did was put a 1/4 stainless pan head screw thru the arch into one of the backing plates that helps secure the bimini pole.

So you are saying you mounted the TV on your radar arch? Along the top or from the side? And you can see the picture in all that light? yeah, I'm a little taken back and amazed!

Negative. I have not mounted it as of yet (am still trying to find the right mounting bracket) but my thought was to mount it on the port side mid-way up the arch. In doing so it would be under the bimini top that i keep up all season, shielded from the sun.....

Picked up a mount made by RAM (RAM-B-111 RAM Universal mount 6 1/4" X 2") @ West Marine for $32.00.

Black powder-coated with stainless steel bolt / spring and wa-la. All should be good. Certainly much cheaper that the $300 Sea Ray part.

Thx for the suggestion. I stupidly would have spent the $300.....

The part can be found @ www.ram-mount.com
