How to insert pictures


Not sure if it's just me, but when I click "new post" or try to reply to an existing post there are no "tool bars" that allow one to insert pics, links, format txt, add smileys and such as shown in the video. All I see is the following... This may be the reason Formula Tenn is having issues getting his pics to embed vs. being an attachment.

If you want to embed a pic...

just copy the url address of the pic (usually right click on a computer or hold down on a phone and options will pop up such as view image, copy image url, etc depending on device)

In the reply area where you want pic type...


Ie (note i added 2 dashes so it does not show image)

Which without dashes would look like this! {What pretty boats ;)}

Hi all, if you do not have an online photo album to link pictures to for posts, you can always make an album on this site and use that URL or address to do what Tom is showing above. And you can use the album to link/embed photos on other forum websites.

Thanks for the help Steve! I still don't see the tool bar when replying or starting a new thread. Cleared everything and even tried another browser....
 
Ok, see below just changed as of 3:30pm EST

Ok, I just changed a setting and found out I had to run a query to update all users. Let me know if it works now. Please check this prior to next steps, this way I can make sure I fixed it for the all members to be default tool bar.

If not, you can follow these instructions until I figure out how to fix it globally.

Up by your user name, top right click on Settings. On left hand side there will "My Settings" selections. Scroll down to "General Settings" and click it.

Once in General Settings scroll down to "Miscellaneous Options". Then Message Editor Interface. Select "Enhanced Interface"

This should give you the full tool bar.

However, please let me know if the query fixed it prior to doing the above steps.

Add an Image from your computer not working
I hit insert image then from your computer then browse then I select the image then open and noting I even waited for 15 min’s still noting
PS yes, I watched the video
