Good morning. I really appreciate the great advice on here and I thank you all for your help. I had a fuel gauge on my 280 SS that was not working properly. It would stay on full until it suddenly went to 1/4 and then I was almost out of gas!
I pretty much learned to live with that until off-season maintenance last month and the mechanic diagnose a bad sender in my twenty-year-old fuel tank. He replaced it. Now the gauge just stays on full and never moves. What is my next step? Common Sense would say the gauge itself but I'm afraid maybe a wiring problem? I welcome any ideas. If it matters, he said he replaced the sender with the best available updated electronic model,
