Fried circuit breaker

Just got the boat in the water July 5th after repairs from "sandy". The boat was on blocks with the plug out so the engine room got flooded. Had a great Volvo diesel mechanic redo all the wiring and replace a lot of items that were under water. The best part was he wanted to do a sea trial when we got her in the water. I showed up to get the boat ready and noticed that the # one interior circuit breaker was tripped. Mentioned this to the mechanic when we took the boat out for sea trials and he wanted to investigate the issue when we got to shore. The meter always dipped when I turned on switches under load, which he did not think was right. Well we started to test things under load with a volt meter and the #1 main breaker at the stern popped. Smelled burnt electrical checked the breaker and it was hot, actually fried. It seems that the neutral wire was not screwed down tight all these years. Thanks to a great mechanic, Chuck from C&B Marine in Brick, catastrophe was averted.
