FLIR connection

Anyone know where the connection point for the FLIR is, is it under one of the 2 overhead panels in the aft cockpit. Any idea which one, if yes and how easy is it to remove the panel?

i don't have one, but since they ship those boats with no hard top, most connections for roof mounted gear is behind the vinyl covered panel on the starboard side of the hard top support. just above and abaft the grill on mine...the actual connections are typically made just above the storage unit below that vinyl panel, but sometimes you can pull them up to where the vinyl panel is.

if you do want to pull down those roof mounted panels, just remove the screws that hold the light in place and pull down. there are a couple of quick release connectors that hold that panel up on the forward edge if i remember correctly. the other side is a metal piece that just hooks on the ledge of the roof. personally, i think you have better access to the cables up there by pulling the panel above the flag mount though.

Thanks, Todd. A wealth of good information, as always.
