Fisher winter covers

Thinking about having a Fisher cover made and I?m curious about people?s experience with them. Specifically:

1) how many years do have you had it and how is it holding up?
2) how does the imron hold up? Any scratching, scuffing, etc.?

Are you talking Fisher and Son, or Fisher Canvass?
I have a Fisher and Son winter cover, it's not canvas so it's much lighter than canvas. I've had this cover for 5 years and this year will be the 1st time I'll need a repair, the zipper door at the stern needs restitching. The person in the slip next to me got 12 years out of his cover before he had to replace it.
I haven't had any issue with the paint but it did fade my art work on the aft "trunk". My fault, I now put a towel over the applique and it's fine.
This cover can be lifted by one person, although I put it on board before the boat is hauled. (Work smarter not harder). I don't need a frame, although you will need to make supports for the bow. I have 5. Also rope and/or ratchet straps.
They come each year and pick up, drop off my cover, clean, refold and store. Any necessary repairs are made, with my permission.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for the info. It’s Fred Fisher, which I believe is Fisher Canvas.

good to hear that you haven’t had any issues with the paint

Out of curiosity, about how much does one of these covers go for? Just wondering if I should go this route rather than dropping ~$500 each fall for a shrink wrap job.
