Faucet fresh water pump

Hey guys, has anyone replaced or upgraded the fresh water system pump for the sinks in their PC? The (I believe original) one I have works great at the cockpit wet bar but the pressure could be better at the shower. Curious if anyone has upgraded theirs and how the results were.

Haven't upgraded, but I would see the low output of the shower is by design, low flow shower head. Get good flow and water runs out sooner

Your shower head has a water restrictor that limits flow. You can remove it but as ALLDODGE said, you will deplete your fresh water supply sooner.

Take the shower hose and head off and see how much flow you get then. Water will spray all over but it is a shower. That may tell you if it is the shower head restricting the flow. There may also be a filter in the shower head like an aerator in a regular faucet that may be dirty and restricting the flow.

Yup, as stated, there is a restrictor in the head. I removed mine, as we usually only use the shower when hooked up to dock side water. If you're showering on the hook keep in mind you can throttle back the flow by closing off the shower handle.

It's likely that you have calcium build-up in the shower head and the screens for the faucet.
At that age they are likely clogged.

I bought a new shower head from amazon:

And a new set of aerator screens for the faucet. Arguably these allow a lot of water through the faucet so we have to be sensitive to not open them wide open. You can get lower flow screens if you desire. Simply 3 minute change for galley sink and bathroom.

As for the washdown on the back those are all Scandvik parts.

Once I did all that - all was right with the world again.
