Engine Hatch Rear Side Bolts - Keep Breaking?

I'm not sure this is how Formula did this since the boat is now 22 years old. But I keep putting stainless bolts in here and... they usually last 1-2 seasons. I know we boat hard, but is there something else I should be using here?

thanks!

or does anyone know the correct size? I guess I can take my bolt size thing to the boat next time. I usually use a large stainless that fits since I have tons from other projects, but they may still be too small.

I did have an idea in my favorite thinking place, while not thinking about the problem. I'll take my drill bit set to the boat. and play find the biggest that fits in the hole. then take that measurement to the hardware store.

easy peasy.

Not sure how easy it would be to find but you could try to get a 410 grade stainless bolt. 410 grade is much stronger than 304 or 316 stainless. I just don't know if you could find what you need.
