Electric pump under the generator ???

While winterizing my 330SS I discovered a electric pump mounted under the generator. It has a 3/8" clear plastic tube the leads to the starboard side of the boat and the other end has a small ball valve and dumps into the bilge. I can't seem to find any explanation in my Formula manuals. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yup for sure that is what it is...it has a remote float in the shower cabin bilge as drewm suggested.

Thanks but I cant figure out why there is ball valve that is closed after the pump. There is also a blue "residential" electrical junction box next to it with a block off cover.
 
Wonder if someone modified the stock setup, any chance you can take a picture, that would help us all.
