Hello everyone,

Dealer Bashing is not permitted on this site. Any such topics will be deleted imediately by any of the forum
Moderators.

Sorry for any inconvience this has caused you but this site does not condone bashing of any kind.

Thanks for your understanding.

Interesting perspective?!

The forum is for advising others of important issues with our boats.

If a dealer is not living up to the quality of service that is expected from Formula then why not be able to voice it in this Forum?

Maybe when the dealer is advised the problem is being addressed in this forum... they might be able compelled to resolve the issue.

I agree "Bashing" is not acceptable, but this forum is for the owners to voice their opinions also Right?

I BELIEVE THAT THIS FORUM IS FOR THE GOOD OF ALL. WE HAVE UNLIMITED RESOURCES HERE, ALONG WITH A LINK TO ALL FORMULA OWNERS. WHY TAKE THE CHANCE OF RUINING THIS BY BASHING YOUR DEALER?
THIS SITE IS NOT RUN BY OR SUPPORTED BY FORMULA, OR ITS DEALER NETWORK. IT IS RUN BY HARD WORKING INDIVIDUALS THAT WANT THE BENEFIT OF HAVING COMMUNICATION BETWEEN OWNERS, AND PEOPLE WHO MAY WANT TO OWN FORMULA'S. WE ALL BENEFIT FROM HAVING THIS SITE.
THERE ARE ALWAYS TWO SIDES TO EVERY STORY. WE ONLY HEAR ONE SIDE ON THE FORUM. IN MOST CASES, PROBLEMS CAN BE AVOIDED BY BEING REASONABLE, AND WORKING IT OUT WITH YOUR DEALER.
FORMULA IS THE TYPE OF COMPANY THAT WILL STEP IN, AND DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO MAKE PROBLEMS DISAPPEAR. WE ALL KNOW THEIR EXCELENT REPUTATION FOR SERVICE AND COMMITMENT TO QUALITY. WE HAVE FIRST HAND EXPERIENCES TO BACK THIS UP. BASHING THE DEALER DOES NOT SOLVE PROBLEMS, IT CREATES MORE PROBLEMS, IN MY OPINION.
ONCE COMMUNICATION IS DISRUPTED BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR DEALER, FORMULA NEEDS TO BE CONTACTED THRU THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT. THEY HAVE EXCELLENT PEOPLE THAT KNOW HOW TO DO THEIR JOBS. THEY CAN MAKE THE CUSTOMER SATISFIED. LET THEM HANDLE THE DEALER. I'M SURE THAT IF A DEALER IS NOT PERFORMING THEIR DUTIES AS A FORMULA DEALER, FORMULA WILL MAKE THE NECESSARY CORRECTIONS, AND POSSIBLY FIND A NEW DEALER, IF IT IS WARRANTED.
LETS FACE FACTS. WE ALL NEED OUR DEALERS FOR SERVICE AND WARRANTY WORK. BASHING THEM JUST MAKES THINGS GET REAL COMPLICATED.

I agree with what your saying about bashing, but sometimes if someone is having an issue with a dealer others on the board may be able to help or have gone through a simliar situation. If a forum user is having a particular problem can he be allowed to ask others on the forum if they have been through the same type of situation or have any helpful ideas to resolve the issue? I really enjoy this forum and have learned a great deal about Formula boats, dealers, and the factory support. I agree I don't want to see this turn into a dealer trash but I think it would be helpful to forum users to ask others how they resolved issues that have arisen. By the way I am not in the water yet :( :( I am waiting for a new galley refrigerator to be installed. Anways happy and safe boating to all :D ;D

I'll weigh in ;D ;D ;D
Just remember .02 cents ;)

There is such a thing as a good mechanic and the obvious, a bad mechanic. Just name the career and their is good and bad: doctor, dentist, journalist, teacher, salesman, preacher, scientist, enviornmentalist, soldier, politician, etc, etc, etc, I think this point is clear.
So here is how I would apply the point to this topic:

Those who are good earn their reputation and those who are bad earn their reputation and should not be denied their due recognition or warning. This is fair both ways.
That being said, I am not for "political correctness" if it clouds the issue and a clearly communicated heads up is a good thing, good or bad.

However, one should realize that this very good and effective process will be hindered if negatively charged emotions contribute to the delivery of the story. Then all the good that could have been done will be misdirected and usually miss the point.

This "scouting" practice has already been observed to be effective in corporate business. Companies are checking not only on employees but what kind of perception exists in public to know what and how to address issues that are otherwise and sometimes unseen.
This process gives power to the consumer. Personally I like it but just as with any power it can be abused.

We all know there are good dealers and bad ones, whether it concerns boats, cars, or motorcycles. By not allowing feedback on dealers the usefulness of this forum is greatly reduced. Is a dealer running this forum? I have not come across a "dealer bashing ban" in other vehicle forums.

Hi,

No a dealer does not own the forum. There is a difference between feed back and dealer bashing. You can see the opinions that have been stated in the prior posts and your opinion is welcome also.

Thanks

The answer to that question would be no. :D
