Dash lights too dim at night

New owner of a 2007 260BR. Red dash lights are extremely dim at night. Is there anyway to increase the light output?

Not with the existing bulbs.

That said, take one of the gauges out and you will see a bulb that twists into the socket. Remove it and you will see a little red rubber condom-type cover. This is what makes the "red" light.

Option 1 - Simply take the red cover off and reinstall. The gauge light will be "white" which most likely will be too bright or

Option 2 - Purchase Red LED Bulbs from a company like www.superbrightleds.com

I opted for Option 2, changing out all of the gauge bulbs to LED and its prefect!

That said, I also went to Richie Compass's website and purchased red bulbs for the Compass so that it would match the gauges.
