Has anyone found a good solution for frame and cover, for wintering a 45?

I get shrinkwrapped every year. The other Yacht in the marina stays in water under a shed.

That’s a good point, but I’ve seen covers on bigger boats. It’s got to be difficult to do, hence pay money every year to wrap, and considering options. It seems once a frame is fabricated, a big step is out of the way, then the cover is simpler, albeit heavy like you said.
