Controls Merc

Those look just like the Morse controls I bought to put in the 302, but I never installed them. I sold it and bought the Gaffrigs. But to answer your question, yes they will work. I sold the set I had for $250. They had been painted.

I have the separate controls on my boat and it is great, leave the the throtle in idle and just move the transmission into forward and reverse. It makes handling the boat much easier compared to having them combined like I had in my old boat, you don't have that rocking back and forth as you shift.

LBI, who makes your controls??

The one's I sold didn't have trim in the handle, my new one's do, but I left the trim on the dash.

Thanks guys, I only have the trailer swithes in the dash. I could mod them to go up and down. but not sure i want to do that ;) YET

Here is a set to work with. Make an offer and you'll have an extra one to play with.

appreciate it.

Interesting topic I might make this swich next year I have always driven twins with seprate controls, only once with single lever that was on a 33'zodiac with outboards. I will see how it goes with the single lever this summer. Might be easier to teach the first mate how to drive with single lever controls. ;)
