I go to look at updates, and then if a deal falls in my lap i might sign papers ;D Then salesmen buys $8 beer.
 
I go to see what boat I may be able to buy 5 years down the road! If I can find someone who realizes the 47 was a mistake and is willing to bite the bullet I would be willing to try and find a slip for it....we're talking a blue light special here 8)
 
GREAT PLACE TO SEE WHATS NEW, VIEW NEW ELECTRONICS, AND TALK TO MANUFACTURERS REPS. ONCE IN A GREAT WHILE, YOU STUMBLE ACROSS A DEAL.

Really depends on how one defines "interest" Everytime I hear the word statistics I think error, bias, etc.

Anyway there is talk that sales are affected by everything in the wind and that is an indicator of interest. Interpretation??? I think that is a narrow focus on the year from a finance perspective which is disjointed. In other words, faulty conclusion.
I would explain like this: Because I don't buy one year or attend one year does not mean my interest is less however that does create a stat. Economic demands might make me shift my budget, GAS!!!!!!!, but the numbers generated from the resulting stats do not reflect my lack of interest!!!
The auto industry has been getting beat up by this sort of "enviornmental agenda hog wash" and they drive that as far as they can go.

I don't like the Atlanta show so I drive 5 hours to go to Bham, no lack of interest there.






ahhemm.....anyway

I go to see all the new stuff and if I like something to add to my boat or what I want to get in the next boat. ;D
 
WE ALWAYS GO TO ANNAPOLIS, AND CLEVELAND. WE PLAN A MINI VACATION AROUND BOTH SHOWS. CLEVELAND IS COMING IN JANUARY. ANY ONE ELSE GOING?

We go to the St. Louis show sometimes. I like going to see new boats, what's being done to them, what's inside them. It gets me in the mood to go boating again. But mainly it's just to see a lot of nice boats up close.
 
ANYONE GOING TO CLEVELAND BOAT SHOW JAN 11TH THRU 20TH? WE WILL BE THERE ON THE 18-20TH.
 
I worked the Chicago show one year when they were between dealers. I don't think it has as large of Boat area as St. Louis, but was neat to experience. Trying to get the boss to let me work the Miami show this year. Might as well plan my mini Vacation where its warm. Sorry Gary never even been to Cleveland much less the boat show. Thats where we say something is when its really far away. "Its out there in Cleveland"
 
I go to St. Louis Every year. sometimes hit Chicago, Cincinatti, and KC as well. Did the st. petersburg show last fall and also going to try to hit Miami either this yaer or next.... Hows the lake market doing Troy, we have more and more lake boaters moving back to the river in STL do to gas prices as well as sick of crowd. and thoughts on a formula dealer here in STL to compete w/ Regal and Sea Ray?
