Boat Hauler

Might need a boat hauler. Anyone know of anyone? I had my eagle trailer towed from Ohio to New Jersey for like $400.

Cant find anyone for less than $1200 today!!

I had the same problem getting my formula from Michigan to RI.......nobody cheaper than $1800.

Went on www.1staboard.com and posted my info, got a call a day later and an offer to take my boat to me for $900.

Guys will go on there and look for things to haul, in this case, because the shipper had to come to Massachusetts to pick up a huge yacht and bring it back. The shipper was coming from Wisconsin, right thru Michigan, with an empty trailer.

He cut me a deal (half of the cheapest price I found anywhere else), since he'd be empty and making no money otherwise......and I made out as well.

Add the $100 I gave the truck driver for a safe trip when I took delivery, and I made out well. Worth every penny :)
 
Where in Ohio? I know of a few local haulers. We are in the Port Clinton (on Lake Erie between Cleveland and Toledo) area.

Tell them Megan Straw from Loadmaster referred you. I can't guarentee it'll be $400 but should be less than $1,200.
