Is this just the 4" hose that goes to the blowers? I'd install new, longer hose with some zip ties. I did all new hoses and blowers in my 2001, after the previous owner had the IQ of a lizard and broke everything.

Longer hoses will help. It looks like they are friction fit into the cover. Nothing I can see to zip tie to. Perhaps I can fit a section of PVC pipe into the opening and attach hose to that. I'll check it when I go down this weekend.
