battery location question

Boat is 2019 240 Bowrider. I have a starting battery and aux/house battery. One is on the port side right next to the battery charger. the other is on the starboard side, all the way in the back of the engine compartment. Question #1. Which one is which? The Formula user manual shows them both on the same side, but mine are not. question #2. how can I see real time voltage on the aux/house battery? The dash guage is only for the starter, is that correct? I posted this here instead of the bowrider section because there have been no posts in that section since 10/21. Thanks.....

Sometimes, to distribute weight evenly Formula will move batteries around. They actually added a battery to our 34 PC, to even out the weight. As far as determining which is which, you can follow the wire, or have someone crank the engine while you have a volt meter on the battery. Thee should be a voltage drop on the start battery. Are you sure you don't have a selector switch for battery, on-off-both? As for current voltage is that displayed on your MFD, mine are. you can select what to display. Hope this helps.
