Aft seat covers

Did all 45 Yachts (mine is a 2017) come with the rear seat covers? The snaps are there, but cannot find the covers.

Seems like it would be easier to cover these on some overnights without putting up the back drop.

Thanks,
Dave

The prior owner should have the cover, it is 1 piece and very well-designed and fits perfectly. My guess is it would cost 1-2K to replace with an OEM replacement.

I ordered a replacement cover last year. It was $787 plus shipping for my 2015 that has the glass door option. It fits perfectly but it is “tight” so it takes a little pulling and “stretching” to get it snapped on. Pro tip: start with the “rope” that slides into the guide on the port side. You have to install the new snaps yourself to match up with the ones on your boat. I practiced with a leather punch and the snap installation tool before starting in on my new cover.

Honestly, I wish they made a thin, lightweight stretchy cover that was super easy to put on and store for everyday use. Just something to keep the seats clean and keep the dew off. The cover from Formula feels heavy duty, which is great, but overkill for 95% of the time. I may look into options for a custom canvas shop to make something like that. If anyone else has done something like that please share!

So I have the backdrop which I think you are referring to.

I am inquiring about the actual seat covers. Stole this pic from boattrader of the covers.

That is my back drop, Where To.

Dave

Yep I am talking about the seat cover from your first picture. I don’t have a backdrop as shown in your second.

bshep, I've had a friend of mine make a couple of custom canvas pieces for me for various boats and he made a custom carpet for my cockpit this season, he does great work and he's local to RI. www.robiecanvas.com

We were thinking of doing something in the area where the engine room hatch is. Did he do something to cover the entire cockpit, any pics to share?

apparently this is the only one I have right now. I'll take some more tomorrow when I'm back at the boat. PM me your email or cell and I'll send them to you. 195371607_10159385367253331_8941947974483561084_n.jpg
