Adding Transducer Advice

I have 2003 Formula 37PC with a Axiom MFD E37066 (no plug in back for transducer). I would like to add a Airmar DT800 smart Transducer and connect it to the NMEA 2002 for display on the Axiom. Has anyone added a transducer and did you get any interference with the in-hull factory installed transducer that came installed in the boat? Looking for ideas and recommendations.

Do i get a transducer with a dead rise of 18 deg?

Can I install next to the in-hull factory transducer or will I get interference?

Each boat's going to have their own turbulence in the water based on what's been added/changed over the years. Mine has an added transducer on the port side of the transom, I assume to avoid the through-hull on the starboard side. I don't think anyone's going to be able to help with your specific boat, unless they have the exact same hull features.
