ACP Zinc

For you guys who pull your boat over the winter, do you always change out your ACP zinc every year?

don't think i even have one. :rolleyes: this is the really large consolidated zinc on the stern right? in general, i'll replace bottom side zincs if i don't have plans to pull again in the next year since they're fairly cheap. outside of that, i go based on appearance.

the only way to know if an anode needs to be replaced is by weight. A used up one will weigh less even though it might look fine.

I just replace them every year. it's cheap insurance against expensive corrosion.
